Job Title: Clarify Architect with Java Expertise - Telecom Domain

Location: Miami or Remote (once in a month travel to client location)
Salary 150-160K, $95/hr

Introduction: We are seeking an experienced Clarify Architect with Java expertise who is also familiar with the telecom industry's dynamics. This role involves designing and implementing customized solutions using Amdocs Clarify in conjunction with Java-based applications to meet the unique needs of telecom operations. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of telecom processes, Clarify CRM systems, and strong Java programming skills.

• SME in Telecom BSS/OSS stack.
• Good architecture knowledge of Billing/ Order Management/Product Catalog/CRM.
• Has a good experience in TMForum frameworx standard " etom/SID/TAM & ODA”.
• Proposed TMF open digital architecture for Billing domain for future roadmap for the Enterprise customer.
• Created solution design for Billing, Customer order management, Fulfillment and Service Assurance domains to decommission legacy systems with homegrown solutions/COTs using TMF Open API to be compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive Clarify solutions tailored to the telecom sector, integrating these with Java-based applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Lead architectural efforts to customize, configure, and implement Amdocs Clarify CRM systems, ensuring they meet telecom-specific requirements.
• Develop and maintain robust Java applications that interface with Clarify systems, providing seamless data exchange and operational efficiency.
• Analyze and translate telecom business requirements into technical specifications, creating scalable and sustainable Clarify solutions.
• Implement integrations between Clarify applications and other business systems using Java, APIs, and web services, with a focus on telecom protocols and standards.
• Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of both Clarify and Java applications, particularly in high-volume telecom environments.
• Ensure the scalability and reliability of solutions by designing fault-tolerant, high-availability architectures.
• Provide expert guidance on the use of Clarify and Java within the telecom domain, advising on best practices and emerging technologies.
• Document architectural designs and development processes, and maintain high standards of code quality and documentation within the telecom framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, business analysts, and other IT professionals, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior developers and team members, fostering an environment of learning and growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clarify Architect with a deep understanding of Amdocs Clarify CRM systems.
• Extensive experience with Java development, including frameworks like Spring and Hibernate, specifically in the telecom domain.
• Solid understanding of telecom business processes, including billing, customer management, and network operations.
• Proficient in Clarify ClearBasic code, Clarify schema, and server architecture.
• Experience with web services (SOAP, REST) and API integration in a telecom context.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and SQL.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Certifications in Java, Clarify, or other telecom-specific technologies.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Prior work with network protocols, 5G, IoT, or other advanced telecom technologies.
