Job Description

Addison Group is seeking a Junior Recruiter to support high-volume hiring and onboarding efforts for our client's operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple hiring activities, and supporting employees throughout the onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews, hiring, and onboarding for replacement staffing needs
  • Manage interview scheduling and adjust timelines based on operational demand
  • Ensure all hiring and application steps are completed in alignment with internal policies and employment regulations
  • Lead new hire orientation sessions, reviewing company expectations, policies, and procedures
  • Initiate and track background screenings according to client and compliance requirements
  • Enter and update employee information in the time and attendance system, including changes as needed
  • Track union documentation and coordinate required union-related submissions
  • Partner with payroll to help resolve timekeeping or pay-related questions in a timely and professional manner
  • Escalate employee relations or client concerns to HR leadership when appropriate
  • Provide front desk and reception coverage for the operations team as needed, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment

Qualifications

  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, or administrative support (staffing or operations experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
