Job description

Make an Impact Where Engineering Meets People

Our purpose is simple and bold: use thermodynamics to improve the world. Our mission: set the standard in heat transfer while taking care of our teams, communities, and the planet.

Your Mission

As a bilingual People Operations Business Partner for our Minnesota Division, you’ll build a strong, diverse workforce for high-volume manufacturing while ensuring a best-in-class employee experience. You’ll balance hands-on recruiting with thoughtful employee relations, policy stewardship, and HR operations that keep our organization moving.

How You’ll Lead
  1. Attract: Create and execute recruiting strategies leveraging job fairs, community outreach, referrals, and social platforms.
  2. Select: Own end-to-end hiring—screening, interviewing, coordinating with hiring managers—to align talent with production and business needs.
  3. Onboard: Ensure new hires receive a consistent, seamless experience and clear benefits education.
  4. Protect: Maintain compliance with labor laws and policies—including union agreements, FMLA, workers’ comp, and disciplinary processes.
  5. Support: Advise supervisors and leaders on equitable policy application; conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions; drive retention.
  6. Improve: Evaluate and enhance HR programs as priorities shift; support culture and change initiatives.
  7. Expand: When recruiting slows, assist with employee engagement and development planning, provide payroll processing support, and ensure our engagement/development story aligns with our candidate pitch.
  8. Enable: Contribute to HR team projects, hospitality and event efforts, and other administrative assignments.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English.
  • Experience in Human Resources and Recruiting.
  • Comfort in union and non-union manufacturing environments.
