Job description

Position Summary

To serve our customers by selling our products and managing our employees to established standards in order to increase company sales and profits. 

Essential Functions

  • Perform established job duties in accordance with established standards.
  • Works to resolve customer service issues or delivery issues that occur, as necessary.  Communicates all performance and customer service issues to the Senior Market Sales Manager, STLM, SOM and TDM, as applicable.
  • Develops, builds and maintains relationships with Sr Market Sales Manager, STLM, TDM Large Format Account Manager and TAM positions; provides customer service according to established guidelines. 
  • Conducts store evaluations to ensure that store conditions are met and maintained according to established company standards (e.g. pricing, standard sets, presentation, proper product rotation and freshness). 
  • Ensures that company policies, standards and procedures are followed and maintained in accordance with established company policy (e.g. OSHA and safety compliance, Federal/State/Local Laws).  
  • Communicates with customers and employees to introduce product lines as assigned by Senior Market Director, G&J ADCO according to AOP initiatives. 
  • Stocks, rotates and displays all products to established standards (e.g. coolers, vendors). 
  • Maintains confidentiality of financial information, customer information, promotions, pricing, CDA contracts, employee information (e.g. discipline, wage information) and other sensitive and confidential information. 
  • Completes time-off requests and timecards, mileage reports and other paperwork according to established company policy. 
  • Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of normal schedule as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required. 

Education Level

Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in business or related field of study, or equivalent work experience.

Computer Skills

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Certificates & Licenses

Valid Driver’s license: employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment.
