Job description

Purpose
This role drives the day-to-day execution of public relations across performance, sport, and lifestyle, ensuring adidas shows up with credibility and edge in campaigns and stories for fans, across established and emerging media, including creators.
From showroom management and product seeding to campaign rollouts and media engagement, the Manager, PR keeps the press engine running while helping position adidas at the center of sport and culture.
This role requires a strong, well-rounded understanding of sport across performance, athletes, and culture, with fluency across the broader sport landscape and extra credit for speaking football, futbol, and soccer.
What You'll Do
  • Own and lead execution of product seeding programs, press gifting, and sample logistics across performance, sport, and key brand moments
  • Support and contribute to larger PR campaigns, including athlete storytelling, cross-functional planning, and media outreach
  • Organize and maintain the seasonal press showroom, coordinating media previews, walk-throughs, and content visits
  • Build and manage press lists, editorial calendars, and media databases across sport, performance, and culture
  • Execute media outreach and track coverage across established and emerging media, including creator-first platforms
  • Partner closely with agency and internal teams to deliver seeding drops, activations, and earned-first storytelling
  • Track and report on earned media performance, campaign KPIs, and PR impact
  • Support press events, previews, and experiential activations from planning through execution
  • Ensure the adidas Press Office operates seamlessly across inbox management, requests, and sample coordination
Who You Are
  • Strong, well-rounded understanding of sport across performance, athletes, and culture; sport fluent across the board, with extra credit for speaking football, futbol, and soccer
  • Connected to the evolving media landscape, with a strong instinct for what resonates across press, social, and creators
  • A high-output operator who can manage complex execution with precision while contributing ideas that elevate storytelling
  • Confident engaging with editors, stylists, athletes, and talent teams in both digital and in-person environments
  • Naturally curious and trend-aware, with a clear point of view on sport, fashion, and culture
  • Organized and proactive, able to manage timelines, logistics, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable building decks, moodboards, and recaps using tools like Canva
Knowledge, Skills & Ability (What You Bring)
  • 4-7 years of experience in public relations or brand communications (agency or brand-side)
  • Experience across product seeding, media relations, athlete storytelling, or campaign support
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Familiarity with media tracking tools and fluency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus

At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday.

Expected Salary Range: $94k - $140k USD. 10% bonus eligibility annually, on base salary. Full benefits eligible.
