Required Skills:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Urology
  • Valid medical license to practice in Wisconsin
  • Proven expertise in urological procedures, both surgical and clinical
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and patient management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with outpatient clinics and surgical scheduling
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Prior experience in outreach or community-based urology clinics
  • Additional languages or cultural competency skills

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Completion of a urology residency program
  • Prior clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
  • Flexibility to work intermittent shifts and adapt to evolving schedule needs

Other Requirements:
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including system call duties based out of Wausau
  • Ability to travel occasionally to Wisconsin Rapids (1-2 days per month)
  • Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or similar is a plus
