Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Urology
- Valid medical license to practice in Wisconsin
- Proven expertise in urological procedures, both surgical and clinical
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with outpatient clinics and surgical scheduling
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Prior experience in outreach or community-based urology clinics
- Additional languages or cultural competency skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completion of a urology residency program
- Prior clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Flexibility to work intermittent shifts and adapt to evolving schedule needs
Other Requirements:
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including system call duties based out of Wausau
- Ability to travel occasionally to Wisconsin Rapids (1-2 days per month)
- Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or similar is a plus
