Vaughn Industries, LLC is looking for an innovative individual to join our team as a MEP Drafter to work within our VDC (Virtual Design & Construction) Department. We are seeking candidates for full-time, in person opportunities in our VDC Department located in Lewis Center, OH.

Duties will include:
  • Attend & successfully complete multiple Autodesk Revit Building Information Modeling classes and trainings
  • Construct layouts for mechanical systems on commercial projects
  • Work with other trade contractors to resolve clashes in the BIM model
  • Work with field personnel to ensure constructability of design
  • Generate installation drawings for use by field personnel
  • Perform minimal design calculations using sound engineering practices
  • Conduct field surveys to document existing conditions
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Experience working with Revit, AutoCAD, and/or Navisworks is preferred
  • Ideal candidate is currently enrolled in or has completed a degree program in Construction Management, Engineering, Drafting, or Design
  • High School Diploma
