Job Requirements:- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in management systems, with a strong background in auditing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001:2015. ISO 14001, and/or AS9100 quality tools, and process-oriented audit techniques required.
- Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills are necessary for instructing classes.
- Active ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
Essential Functions:- Responsible for delivering training, developing curriculum as needed, and consulting with Tulsa Technology Center's business clients to meet their needs for ISO certifications, upgrade and ongoing training for new personnel.
- Assisting clients in developing the talent and expertise needed to conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with international quality standards.
Job Functions for all BIS Instructors:- Responsible for delivering training, developing curriculum as needed, and consulting with Tulsa Technology Center's business clients to meet their needs for ISO certifications, upgrade and ongoing training for new personnel.
- Assisting clients in developing the talent and expertise needed to conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with international quality standards.
- Develop and deliver training courses, workshops, and seminars on ISO 9001 or other quality management systems (QMS), internal auditing, and lead auditing to employee groups.
- Create and update training materials, course outlines, and assessment tools in alignment with the latest ISO standards.
- Assist client organizations with implementing or upgrading to the ISO 9001:2015 standard and preparing for certification audits.
- Act as a liaison with clients to assess training needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.
- Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.
- Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
- Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.
- Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught.
- Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. - prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)
- Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program
- Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the BIS department.
Education:High School Diploma or equivalent.
Shift: Daytime/Evenings
Salary Schedule:Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees.
Hiring Range:$50 per hour
