Job Opening:

The Malvern School is currently seeking a Lead Teacher for the Preschool classroom at The Malvern School of Voorhees. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.

  • Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
  • Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
  • Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

To qualify for a lead teaching position with The Malvern School you must meet one of the follow criteria:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
  • An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
  • An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.
