Job Title: Training and Development Coordinator
Reports To: VP of Operations
Position Description: The Training and Development Coordinator is responsible for leading the training strategy for new and existing associates by developing standardized training programs, instructional materials, and performance metrics. The Training and Development Coordinator will partner with Functional Areas and Human Resources to ensure consistent, effective training that supports quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate onboarding, retraining, and skill development plans for all associates
  • Manage the training plan, documentation, and Learning Management System (LMS) administration
  • Incorporate AI to help develop and translate training material
  • Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs, work instructions, and training materials
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to leadership
  • Supervise activities of production floor trainers to ensure consistent and standardized on-the-job training
  • Oversee certifications, competency assessments, and validate trainee readiness using scorecards
  • Develop and support cross-training programs to maintain operational flexibility
  • Partner with Functional Areas and Human Resources to support recruitment, retention, and performance
  • Ensure that associates have all necessary tools and supplies to perform their job duties effectively
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain consistent training procedures across the organization
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of training experience in manufacturing, specifically printing
  • Demonstrated experience developing SOPs and work instructions
  • Experience managing an LMS
  • Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills
Must be authorized to work in the United States
