Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Student Assistant in the Department of Center for Immunity and Inflammation within the New Jersey Medical School (NJMS).
The Student Lab Assistant will provide essential support to the Med Track student's project and help manage the daily operations of the lab. This position is crucial for maintaining the lab's organization, assisting in data collection and entry, operating equipment, and contributing to ongoing research experiments. The assistant will play a key role in ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, supporting the overall productivity of the lab.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Maintain Lab Organization: Ensure that the lab is well-organized, tidy, and equipped for daily operations and research experiments.
  • Support Data Collection and Entry: Assist with gathering, entering, and managing data to ensure accuracy and timely completion of research tasks.
  • Operate Equipment: Help set up and operate lab equipment, ensuring that all tools and instruments are functioning properly for experiments.
  • Contribute to Research Experiments: Assist in conducting research, including preparation and execution of experiments, following established protocols.
  • Assist with Lab Operations: Support daily administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth lab functioning.

Minimum Education and Experience
