Infosec Data Analyst
Location: Hybrid Onsite Chicago (local only)

Interview Mode: 1 Round Panel Interview Virutal, 1- hour

Type: Long term contract

Notes:

This is more of a Data Analyst with Business Analyst skills (documentation, requirements gathering, etc).

Experience with account creation and account authentication (getting access the users need). Accounts meaning users.

Key words you might find in the resume: m EPV Analyst, Identity Governance, Authentication and Authorization.

Good understanding of platforms like Microsoft AD, Unix LDAP, Oracle accounts, SQL Server Accounts, and similar platforms

Team has Power BI engineers and other data analysts and engineers in addition to the PM.

Don't have to have SQL writing skills or Power BI skills. (nice to have but not mandatory)

JD:

This position requires extensive and practical experience with Data Analysis and Decision Science. The Data Analyst will be responsible for using their knowledge of data processing software and business development strategies to provide sound business decisions. Their duties include collaborating with other data professionals to extract data figures, creating reports based on their findings, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business initiatives' success.

MAJOR DUTIES INCLUDE:

- Work with leaders to identify opportunities for improvement

- Create reports for internal teams

- Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data

- Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data

- Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions

- Structure large data sets to find usable information

- Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information

- Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings

- Builds analytical data sets, including development of programs for the extraction and transformation of data across multiple platforms, including mainframe

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

- Minimum of 6 years of IT experience with at least 2 of those years focused on Data Analysis

- Familiarity with tools such as PowerBi and SQL clients

- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required

- Must be highly flexible and adaptable to change

Educational/Experience Qualifications:

A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required.
