X-Ray Technologist

Immediate need for a talented X-Ray Technologist. This is a 02+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Job ID:26-16273 Pay Range: $19 - $20/hour. Weekly Gross - $1,868.98 (Based on completion of 36 hours a week),Per-Diem – Inclusive of Meals, Incidentals & Lodging $1148.98 / week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures using radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
  • Provide imaging support in the ED, inpatient units, OR, and portable settings
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure accurate imaging results
  • Operate imaging equipment including Client, Philips, and CareStream systems
  • Utilize EMR/PACS systems including Epic and Sectra
  • Float between departments as needed based on patient care demands
  • Maintain patient safety and radiation protection standards
  • Assist with training students and perform competency check-offs
  • Follow all infection control and mask fit compliance requirements
  • Shift Details -Schedule: Thursday / Saturday / Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • ARRT certification required
  • AHA BLS certification required
  • Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT approved Radiologic Technology program
  • Minimum:1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience, OR
  • 2–3 years of experience in a large-bed Level 2 Trauma facility
  • Comfortable working in:
    • Emergency Department
    • Inpatient imaging
    • Portable radiography
    • Operating Room procedures
  • Must be willing to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging
  • EMR: Epic
  • PACS: Sectra
  • Equipment: Client, Philips, CareStream
  • Additional Information
    • Technologists are assigned to a primary department daily but are expected to float as needed
    • Candidate must be comfortable mentoring students and completing competency evaluations
    • Mask fit testing required prior to start
    • Preferred Qualifications
      • Strong trauma imaging background
      • Excellent adaptability in fast-paced hospital environments
      • Experience with pediatric or neonatal imaging preferred
