Job description

Immediate need for a talented Java Developer with experience in the Banking and Financials Industry. This is a Full Time opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Tampa, FL. Please review the job description below.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise and guidance to the team in using AWS services.
  • Develop and deploy REST and non-REST APIs and user interfaces.
  • Work with cross-functional teams using agile processes.
  • Utilize customer's continuous development and integration processes including the development of complete unit test cases.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • 5+ years Java development experience with JDBC, JMS, JSP, JAF, Servlets, AJAX, Spring, REST, Java design patterns and use of Eclipse, Git/Bitbucket, Maven and JUnit
  • 3+ years developing and implementing REST Web Services and user interfaces using the following AWS services:
  • VPC and EC2
  • Route 53, API Gateway and Elastic Load Balancing
  • IAM
  • Lambda Functions
  • Elastic BeanStalk
  • ElastiCache
  • S3
  • SQS and SNS
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated able to work independently or in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Agile development
  • HTML, JavaScript, CSS, J-Unit scripts
  • JIRA
