Job description
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, UX Designers, Architects, Principal Engineers, and Developers in an Agile environment.
• Design, develop, and review test strategies and test cases for various applications.
• Analyze new features and change requests to assess testing scope and needs.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and help define best testing practices within the team.
• Oversee bug tracking, test prioritization, test automation, and release validation activities.
• Perform functional design analysis, workflow analysis, use case analysis, and data/process modeling to support software quality.
• Lead end-to-end testing efforts, including test planning, defect analysis, test strategy creation, QA/UAT coordination.
• Create reports and analyze data to provide accurate test summaries and quality metrics.
• Continuously analyze and improve QA/testing processes.
Skills Required:
• Basic knowledge of Java, GIT/GitHub, SQL, and testing methodologies.
• Experience with UI and Services testing.
• Agile/Scrum team experience; strong collaboration with development and automation teams.
• Proficiency in test case management, defect tracking, and working with tools like Jira (and associated plugins).
Preferred Skills:
• Working knowledge of Jenkins, API Testing, JavaScript, REST, and SOAP.
• Ability to independently drive projects with minimal and evolving requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies or coding languages as needed.
• Experience developing test automation utilities and supporting QA automation efforts.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proven team player with the ability to collaborate across teams seamlessly.
