Job description
This position is responsible for the design and development of application software to meet business needs and product deliverables. The selected consultant will work closely with the designated IT manager, project managers, and other developers in an agile development environment. The work scope of the consultant will include requirements gathering, application design, application development, testing, deployment, and technical support.
Work LocationOn Site 5 days a week to start - potential for hybrid later. Local candidates to Columbus, Ohio highly preferred.
Mandatory Skills- Experience in developing web applications utilizing the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or higher – 10 years.
- Experience in developing using Azure Technologies (e.g., Azure function, App Service, Azure KeyVault, Redis Cache, etc.) – 3 years.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including git, boards, and CI/CD pipelines – 2 years.
- Experience in developing with Microsoft .NET 6 – 2 years.
- Experience in developing using ASP.NET MVC 5 – 7 years.
- Experience in developing with ASP.NET Core MVC 6 – 2 years.
- Experience in developing with the C# language – 10 years.
- Experience in developing using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later, including LINQ to SQL – 10 years.
- Experience in developing using Entity Framework (EF) Core 6.0, including LINQ to – 2 years.
- Experience in developing using Kendo UI Controls for ASP.NET MVC 5 – 5 years.
- Experience in developing using Kendo UI Controls for ASP.NET Core MVC 6 – 2 years.
- Experience in developing using JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS 3.0 – 5 years.
- Experience in developing using Bootstrap framework 3 – 5 years.
- Experience in developing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) using Web API – 5 years.
- Experience with SQL Server including Database Design and development including optimization of queries, creating tables, views, stored procedures, and functions – 10 years.
- Experience in developing reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) – 5 years.
- Experience in developing with Visual Studio 2019 or Visual Studio 2022 – 4 years.
- Experience in writing unit tests in Visual Studio – 5 years.
- Experience in developing projects with Agile methodology – 5 years.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
- Windows Workflow Foundation 4.
- Microsoft .NET / Azure certifications.
