Job description

Want hands-on experience with real automation projects? TechniBlend is hiring a Controls Engineering Intern to work alongside our Controls Engineering team to learn how automation and control systems power ProMach’s processing solutions. You’ll gain experience with troubleshooting, PLC programming concepts, and electrical systems while contributing to meaningful projects.

What you’ll work on

  • Learn and assist with PLC and HMI programming for automated equipment
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of control systems
  • Review and help maintain control drawings and system documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and assembly teams
  • Gain exposure to industrial automation standards and safety practice
  • Documentation

Who we are looking for

  • Students currently enrolled and majoring in Electrical Engineering, Controls, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Must have completed at least two years of study at an accredited institution
  • Coursework, labs, projects, or curiosity related to automation or PLC
  • Interest in hands-on learning and manufacturing environments
  • Basic understanding of electrical/electronic troubleshootin
  • Interest in electromechanical systems, electronic testing, and design
  • Familiarity with PLC concepts or automation coursework a plus
