Pouring with Heart is currently looking for a new Bartender at Cana Rum Bar, Los Angeles. We are excited to find a new family member. Below is a description of the role, give it a read-through, and if you think “Hell yeah!”, we’d love to start a conversation.
The Role…
As a Bartender, you are the center of hospitality at (Insert Venue). Connecting with guests through your craft, knowledge, and enthusiasm for service to others. Your role is to bring the bar’s culture and brand to life with every interaction, ensuring guests feel welcomed, cared for, and excited to return. This position requires a balance of technical skill, speed, creativity, and a people-first mindset.

Main Duties, but are not limited to…
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences through speed, knowledge, and genuine hospitality.
• Maintain an organized, well-stocked, and clean bar station throughout every shift
• Contribute ideas to cocktail menus, seasonal features, and guest activations
• Follow all health, safety, and compliance standards, including responsible alcohol service.
• Partner with bar leadership to improve processes, share feedback, and participate in training and team meetings.
• Assist teammates and jump in where needed to support the floor, service staff, or bar operations.
Duties may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Required Skills/Qualifications
• 3+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume or cocktail focused environment preferred
• Strong product knowledge across spirits, beer, and wine, with a willingness to continuously learn
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while keeping a calm, positive demeanor
• Excellent communication skills with both guests and teammates
• Strong organizational habits and attention to detail
• Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and building community
• Must be 21+ and have valid certifications for responsible beverage service (varies by state)
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
• Ability to lift and move over 75+ pounds
• Fast-paced movements and mobility required to cover bar and floor space efficiently
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions as part of daily bar operations
