We are looking for experienced Full Stack Developer (React + Node.js) to join Photon at Chicago, IL (Onsite)

Position : Full Stack Developer (React + Node.js)

Location : Chicago, IL (Onsite)

Job Summary
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in React and Node.js
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with React workflows such as Redux (or similar)
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript (ES6+) features
  • Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks/libraries such as Express, Async, Lodash, Socket.io, etc.
  • Experience in developing RESTful APIs and services using Node.js
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Tokens (JWT)
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5 and CSS3
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools and pipelines such as Webpack, NPM
  • Experience with code versioning tools like Git or SVN
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Experience in building reusable components and libraries (both front-end and back-end)
  • Experience in developing user-facing features using React.js
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Optimizing applications for maximum performance across devices and browsers
  • Ensuring code quality through unit testing and adherence to development best practices
  • Writing technical documentation to support implementations
  • Understanding business processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js) is a plus
