The Banquet Houseperson at Paws Up delivers world-class hospitality within an exceptional luxury environment. This role is responsible for the precise execution of banquet and event setups, adhering to elevated presentation standards and accurately interpreting Banquet Event Orders to meet specific event requirements. Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
- Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for all
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment
- Assist with the coordination of furniture and product delivery with suppliers, contractors, employees, vendors, and departments
- Assist with revising room layouts for each event
- Assist Banquets/ Event Managers to ensure complete effective communication of proper table and equipment setup and tear-downs
- Assist with on-site production and clean up for events as necessary
- Set all furniture, chairs and necessary equipment per BEO and Banquet Event Manager need
- Ensure proper equipment is working for buffet tables and other food service tables
- Be able to read and execute BEO's
Supportive Functions and Responsibilities:
- Exhibit hospitality, professionalism, and pride in representing Paws Up at all times.
- Foster positive and collaborative working relationships with all resort team members.
- Ensure all guest interactions and transactions are handled ethically, legally, and confidentially.
- Maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance consistent with resort standards.
- Perform all duties in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner.
Educational, Experience, Licensure Required:
- Current driver’s license with two years driving experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational or job-related course work required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of set up experience, preferably in a luxury resort, fine dining, or banquet setting.
- Strong understanding of world-class hospitality and service standards.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
