What You'll Do
As an PRN X-Ray Technologist at OrthoAtlanta, you'll:
  • Explain procedures clearly, address concerns, and ensure patients are positioned correctly for musculoskeletal imaging
  • Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues
  • Apply proper immobilization techniques and follow established safety protocols at all times
  • Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and adhere to quality control standards
  • Monitor and restock X-ray supplies as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations
  • Record procedures and imaging results accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record system

What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (preferred) or eligible to obtain ARRT certification
  • 1+ year of experience as an X-Ray Technician (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
