Position Overview:

Optigy is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for a micro-hospital in San Antonio that delivers full inpatient and 24/7 emergency medical care. This opportunity is ideal for those trained in EM or with a primary care background and emergency experience.

* ED Volume: 27,000 annual visits

* ED Beds: 15

* Inpatient Beds: 8

* Coverage Model: 12-hour shifts with 24 hours of physician coverage daily, plus APP support

* Documentation: Picis

* Certifications Required: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS

* Qualifications:

o BC/BP in Emergency Medicine

o OR BC/BP in Family or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience

* Additional Resources:

o 24/7 in-house X-ray and CT

o 24/7 radiology reads on all modalities

o 24/7 ultrasound on-call

Compensation:

* Base Compensation: $250-280/hr (W2); $270-$300+ (1099)

* Sign-On Bonus: $50,000

* CME/BEA: $4,000 tax-free annually

* New Grad Package: $6,500 + licensing costs (state & DEA) in year one
