Position Summary:
The laboratory of Dr. Dong-Kyun Ko in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology is seeking a motivated hourly Data Analyst to support research on next-generation colloidal quantum dot (CQD)-based mid-infrared sensors and imaging technologies. Essential Functions:
- Work in an interdisciplinary environment at the intersection of material chemistry, semiconductor device physics, and device microfabrication.
- The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing efforts to advance mid-infrared sensing by working cooperatively with the principle investigator and other graduate students involved in this project.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
- PhD in the related area of physics, materials science, or electrical engineering.
- At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background research experiences in nanomaterials and microfabrication (photolithography) are highly preferred.

Salary Information:
In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the hourly rate/range for this position is $40-$46 (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
