Our feline practice located in Western New York is seeking another feline focused, progressive, and enthusiastic associate veterinarian to join our team! 


Summer Street Cat Clinic was established over 40 years ago and has been highly regarded in the communities with a very loyal and growing clientele. There are two locations: Getzville and Buffalo which are just 20 minutes apart. Our Getzville location borders the State University at Buffalo. We have lots of walking trails right outside the hospital and a backyard to relax in. Our downtown Buffalo location is a beautifully renovated carriage house that offers a historical vibe having been built in the late 1800's and in the heart of the historical district. This location is very cozy, efficient, and charming. Clients are known to go back and forth between the two as well as our team members, but we are flexible to your needs.    


As an associate veterinarian of Summer Street Cat Clinic, you will be a part of the only all feline hospital in Western New York. We know that veterinary care is not one size fits all, especially with cats, that is why we strive to tailor our care based on the needs of the patient and their family. We also have regular staff meetings to ensure that we are providing best practices for our clients, patients, and staff. Currently we are a 4 doctor veterinarian practice. We have been privately running for almost 40 years but recently decided to join National Veterinary Associates, who owns many non-branded hospitals throughout the U.S. and other countries. More than 50% of our employees have been with us for more than 15 years, some even since the beginning (1981). We cultivate a supportive environment where you can grow and feel appreciated. Our services consist of preventative medicine, behavior consultations, weight management and nutrition, surgery, and dentistry. Digital Radiology and Cardiac Ultrasound. No critical care, on call or boarding. We offer a comprehensive range of benefits and incentives designed to support your personal and professional growth. 


Compensation: 

  • Base salary of $110,000-$130,000
  • Production-based bonuses
  • Generous signing bonus

Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification. License in good standing to practice in New York state.
