POSITION SUMMARY:
The Image Specialist I supports the lifecycle management, configuration, and security of Menard Inc.'s enterprise endpoint environment, including Windows desktops, mobile devices, and Apple platforms across Stores, Distribution Centers, Manufacturing, and Corporate locations.
This role leverages enterprise endpoint management and mobile device management platforms to maintain standardized configurations, package and deploy applications, execute structured patch management processes, and support software compliance. Working closely with Infrastructure, Application Teams, QA, and IT Support, the Image Specialist 1 helps deliver secure, reliable, and well-managed endpoint solutions that support business operations at scale.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the lifecycle management, configuration, and security of enterprise endpoints across Windows, Android, macOS, and iOS platforms
  • Maintain standardized device configurations and departmental profiles that define application deployment, permissions, and compliance standards
  • Package, test, and deploy third-party and internally developed applications using structured deployment methodologies
  • Execute structured operating system and application patch management processes to maintain security and stability
  • Collaborate across IS teams and business units to ensure endpoint solutions align with operational needs
  • Take ownership of endpoint-related initiatives beyond narrowly defined task boundaries when necessary to achieve successful outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to improve endpoint management processes, increase automation, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Utilize version control, documentation standards, and peer review practices to ensure maintainable and auditable endpoint automation solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation and operational standards to ensure consistency and repeatability
  • Support software license tracking and compliance efforts
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required
Skills & Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience supporting enterprise endpoint management platforms in a Windows environment
  • Experience managing mobile devices, including Android, macOS, and iOS platforms
  • Experience with application packaging, structured software deployment, and patch management processes
  • Working knowledge of endpoint configuration, system hardening, and security best practices
  • Scripting experience required (PowerShell); familiarity with Python preferred
  • Experience using Git-based version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab) preferred
  • Exposure to infrastructure automation or configuration management tools (e.g., AWX, Ansible) preferred
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related technical field OR equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work within designated normal office hours and participate in on-call rotation
  • May be required to work overtime, including weekends and holidays
