Project Manager The Project Manager at Lowneys Landscaping is the engine that drives our projects from paper to perfection. As a Project Manager at Lowneys, youre not just overseeing jobs youre building legacies in the landscape.
Lets create something incredible together. What youll be doing as a Project Manager: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of landscape construction projects from kickoff through completion. Collaborate with designers, consultants, and clients to develop clear project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate and manage crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality and timely execution. Oversee procurement and delivery of materials, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications. Track progress, identify potential delays or obstacles, and proactively resolve issues before they escalate.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project. Monitor job costs, approve invoices, and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded. Ensure safety procedures are followed on all job sites and that all projects meet compliance and regulatory standards.
Conduct on-site walkthroughs to inspect workmanship, provide direction, and ensure adherence to design and quality standards. Work closely with the estimating and sales teams to review project proposals and support pre-construction planning. Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, change orders, daily reports, and communication logs.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead efforts to enhance efficiency and client experience. Represent Lowneys Landscaping in a professional and positive manner at all times, upholding our commitment to quality and service. What youll bring to the table as a Project Manager: Bachelors degree in landscape construction, Project Management, Horticulture, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of three years of experience in project management within the landscaping, construction, or related industry. Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and equipment. Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams. Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.Outstanding organizational and time-management skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact with clients, team members, and vendors
Budgeting and cost-control experience, with a track record of delivering profitable projects. Ability to interpret construction drawings, site plans, and technical documents. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel between job sites as needed.
Commitment to safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Physical Requirements: The Project Manager role at Lowneys Landscaping is active and hands-on, involving time both in the office and out in the field: Ability to walk, stand, and navigate outdoor job sites in a variety of weather and terrain conditions. Regular use of hands and fingers for computer work, note-taking, and handling materials.
Occasional lifting and carrying of plans, tools, or materials up to 30 pounds. Ability to sit for extended periods while working on schedules, documentation, and communications. Frequent driving to and from client sites, vendors, and project locations.
