Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Yard/Warehouse/Forklift Associate for our client. This job will be responsible for various tasks in our warehouse and yard, including operating forklifts, handling inventory, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse and yard.
- Assist in picking and packing orders for shipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and yard.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid drivers license needed.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or yard environment is a plus.
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Inside and outside conditions but not required to remain out in extreme weather.
- Average ambient temperatures between 0 and 110 degrees F. Regularly exposed to sunlight, dust and dirt.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
- Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
- Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
