Job description
- Develop full-cycle software, including requirements, development, automation, support, and launch releases
- Enhance and establish automation for SDLC-related processes and integrate them into an Agile Scrum framework
- Understand and detect security threats, including vulnerabilities, exploits, phishing, intrusions, and malware, in applications
- Anticipate issues and bottlenecks before they adversely impact delivery schedules and projects
- Code complex application components based on design specifications and programming standards
- Design, develop, and debug systems while ensuring scalability, performance, and security
- Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Success, QA, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering
- Develop complex systems with understanding of business objectives and technical architecture
- Participate in team planning sessions and daily Scrum meetings
- Adapt to changing requirements and deliver projects in a timely manner
- 2-4 years of experience
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in related disciplines
- Experience in software design, development and automation
- Experience in developing Restful web services (APIs), spring applications and Unit testing using JUnit/TestNG
- Experience working in an Agile environment and good understanding of SDLC, STLC
- Experience in working with embedded systems
- Knowledge of industry-standard and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as problem solving skills
- Must have proficiency in at least 1 programming language (Java,Python etc)
- Strong knowledge in Operating Systems, multi-threading, callbacks & scalability concepts
- Experience or strong knowledge with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Good understanding of web services, RESTful APIs, Rest Assured framework along with XML, JSON schema, documents, validation and parsing
- Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience/Knowledge with Gradle, maven, Github, NewRelic, kibana, Splunk, Swagger, Kong dashboard, Postman, and JIRA
- Good understanding of cyber security and network penetration testing, Man-in-the-Middle attacks, SSL stripping techniques, network vulnerability assessment, rogue access points, and Reconnaissance scans would be a plus
