Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a "Facilities Technician I-Graveyard Shift" for the All-NewJ Resort. The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Maintains operating condition of casino buildings and equipment and completes simple repairs
  • Uses knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and plumbing
  • Possess basic knowledge of hand or power tools
  • Must be able to follow safety guidelines
  • Responds to radio, telephone, and verbal requests for maintenance and repairs throughout the property
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work safely with power equipment and tools
  • Proficient in life safety systems operation and resetting
  • Must be able to understand and follow MSDS sheets
  • Know the location of all safety equipment how to use the safety equipment and check safety equipment
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
  • General maintenance experience preferred
  • Identification that establishes identity
  • Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
