The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment with proven skills
  • Troubleshoot and repair casino and property equipment
  • Maintain logs on equipment
  • Proficiency in all phases of operation of fire panels
  • Recommend needed parts for purchase, order parts and services if needed
  • Responds to radio, telephone, and verbal requests for maintenance and repairs throughout the property
  • Assists technicians in their training and duties as assigned

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
  • Must be proficient and versatile in one or more building trades: electrical, painting/sheetrock, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanics
  • Intermediate English reading and writing abilities
  • Ability to work safely with power tools
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Some computer operation may be necessary
  • Some technical or commercial training necessary
  • Three (3) years minimum work experience
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair selected equipment
  • Valid Nevada Driver's License
  • Identification that establishes identity
  • Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
