The Data Analyst will further enable data-driven decision making across the organization. This role will support defining, developing, and implementing the integration of business data, which comes from multiple software tools, enabling data visualizations to be easily and efficiently viewed. The Data Analyst has the additional responsibility to develop and design data visualizations and analysis on an as-needed basis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage reports, analysis, and dashboard solutions.
  • Assure data integrity and preservation of system data.
  • Analyze current and past data and performance; monitor variances; gather benchmark data.
  • Understand what impacts the data being analyzed, draw conclusions, and recommend actions to Management.
  • Perform data analysis to understand, document, and profile data to be used in business intelligence solutions.
  • Share intellectual knowledge, learn, and gain strong knowledge of existing software.
  • Must be and work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team.
  • Assist project managers as needed with data analysis requests.
  • Compile and report survey data.
  • Participate in enterprise-level metadata, master data management, and data governance initiatives.
  • Stay informed about Business Intelligence industry trends, technologies and best practices that can be applied to achieve business goals.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Required Education, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or a relevant degree.
  • 1+ years of experience in data analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization software, similar to PowerBI, Tableau, and/or Qlikview.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including extensive knowledge using Formulas, Functions, PivotTables, Data Models, and Data Queries.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SQL Server skills including developing and executing SQL queries, performance tuning, data analysis and integration, preferred.
  • Ability to collect and analyze specific business requirements and work with the team to assess the software solution.
  • Acute attention to detail with aptitude in decision making, critical thinking, analysis, and problem solving, along with ability ensure confidentiality for highly sensitive information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as strong written and oral communication skills in the English language.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize within established deadlines.
  • Demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits Program
100% employer-paid health for employees; 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, holiday, personal and sick time, among many others; salary range is $65,000 - $75,000 dependent on experience.
Working Conditions:
  • Hybrid work model consists of at least three days a week in our office in Burr Ridge.
  • May require extended hours including weekend/holiday work.
