Senior Network Security & Automation Engineer

Network Security & Automation Engineer Enterprise Infrastructure | Network Modernization | Security Engineering

About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security & Automation Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise infrastructure modernization initiative focused on transforming and securing global network environments. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in complex production environments and enjoy solving challenging infrastructure, security, and automation problems at scale.

You will work alongside senior engineering, architecture, and operations teams to design, deploy, automate, and support critical network security platforms and connectivity solutions across enterprise environments. The position offers exposure to modern network security technologies, automation frameworks, and large-scale infrastructure transformation programs where your work will have direct operational impact.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys balancing technical depth, operational ownership, and delivery execution in fast-paced enterprise environments. What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, deploy, and support enterprise network security solutions across: NAC, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Proxy technologies, Secure remote access, Segmentation platforms
  • Engineer and deploy secure, scalable network infrastructure aligned to enterprise security and operational standards
  • Configure and implement network security appliances across production environments
  • Support large-scale infrastructure deployments, testing, validation, and operational readiness activities
  • Drive automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, GitLab, Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, operations, and security teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for critical infrastructure issues
  • Ensure adherence to change management, compliance, security, and operational governance processes
  • Develop deployment documentation, implementation procedures, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, resiliency, scalability, and automation maturity

What We're Looking For Required Experience

  • Strong experience supporting enterprise network security and infrastructure environments
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying complex data networks
  • Experience with enterprise routing and switching technologies including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
  • Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Bluecoat / Symantec Proxy, Zscaler, Fortinet, ForeScout, NetScaler
  • Strong automation experience utilizing Python, Ansible, GitLab
  • Experience operating within structured production environments with focus on stability, change control, security, compliance, operational excellence
