The Senior Technology Leadership Professional is responsible for all aspects of software or hardware product delivery and performance. The Senior Technology Leadership Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

As a Senior Technology Lead within Humana's Core API and Enterprise Data & Services organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving the design, engineering, testing, and release of key products supporting our Member domain. This role requires strong leadership in cross-functional and cross-enterprise initiatives, working closely with downstream consumers, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions are delivered on time, meet rigorous specifications, and uphold the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end technical execution of Enterprise Data and Services projects from design completion through production release.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional and cross-enterprise teams-including engineering, quality assurance, downstream consumers, and product teams.
  • Partner with testing teams to validate product quality, performance, and compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Ensure production schedules are met and deliverables align with organizational priorities.
  • Actively participate in strategic planning, and solution design to support ongoing transformation within the Member domain.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in technology leadership, supporting delivery across multi-application portfolios, with demonstrated budget stewardship and cost optimization.

  • Experience with technology solutions, designs, assessments and/or strategy planning oversight

  • Proven ability to deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-paced, large-scale environment

  • Demonstrated leadership in guiding cross-functional and cross-enterprise teams through complex technical challenges

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

  • Proficiency in Agile methodology

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certified
  • MBA or other Advanced Degree
  • Experience with open systems, cloud and legacy technologies
  • Experience managing million-dollar budgets, portfolio roadmaps, or large scale migrations
  • Experience in API development, enterprise data architecture, and cloud-based services

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$106,900 - $147,000 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
