Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Location: Tampa, FL
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide remote therapy services to clients through a secure telehealth platform. In this role, you will meet with clients virtually, complete clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, provide ongoing counseling, and document care in a timely and professional manner.
This position is a good fit for an LMHC who enjoys steady client care, clear clinical structure, and the ability to support people from a remote setting. You will help clients work through concerns such as anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional health needs.
Responsibilities
  • Provide individual therapy sessions through a secure telehealth platform
  • Complete intake assessments and gather relevant clinical history
  • Create and update treatment plans based on each client's needs
  • Use appropriate evidence-based counseling approaches during sessions
  • Monitor client progress and adjust care plans when needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Follow HIPAA standards and company telehealth procedures
  • Refer clients to higher levels of care when clinically appropriate

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
  • Active LMHC license in Florida
  • License must be current and in good standing
  • Previous experience providing therapy to adults, families, or diverse client populations
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
