Job Summary
This Licensed Mental Health Counselor position is centered on providing practical, client-focused therapy in a remote setting. You will meet with clients virtually, help them understand what they are working through, and guide them toward realistic goals using appropriate counseling methods.
Your work will include clinical assessments, therapy sessions, treatment planning, progress notes, and ongoing client support. The role is ideal for an LMHC who wants to provide consistent care while working from a professional home environment.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct scheduled telehealth counseling sessions with clients
  • Complete clinical assessments and intake documentation
  • Create individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Provide therapy for concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, and adjustment issues
  • Help clients strengthen coping skills and improve daily functioning
  • Document each session clearly and on time
  • Monitor client progress and adjust care plans when appropriate
  • Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality
  • Follow clinical, ethical, and legal requirements for remote care

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Active LMHC license in Florida
  • Experience providing therapy in a clinical, outpatient, private practice, or telehealth setting
  • Strong understanding of clinical documentation and treatment planning
  • Comfortable working with clients through video-based care
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace
