Security Engineer
Candidate must have strong experience with Checkpoint, Fortinet, Zscaler, Ivanti, and Multi-Domain Security Management.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve customer issues.
Implement change requests for managed security customers while providing second and third level troubleshooting support.
Serve as the technical escalation point for Security Engineer L1 and L2.
Maintain effective and prompt communication with clients and internal staff and management.
Provide technical mentorship to the security analyst team.
Generate and maintain operational processes and training documentation.
Provide input to continuously improve products and services to add value for customers and stakeholders.
Handle maintenance and service related activities as they arise.
Maintain up to date certifications for supported products.
Analyze, recommend, and implement new technologies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Develop security policies and support security education initiatives.
Perform network penetration testing, application vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and compliance testing.
Work with IT security technologies including operating systems, databases, routing and switching, and endpoint security solutions.
Apply knowledge of information security standards such as ISO 17799 and ISO 27002 and regulations related to data confidentiality.
Follow best practice design and implementation methodologies.
Work with problem and change management processes and related applications.
Manage ASA policies including changes to ACLs, objects, and policies.
Provide expertise in site to site VPN, remote VPN, and proxy configurations.
Work with technologies including Juniper, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and Cisco products.

Qualification And Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Minimum of five years of hands-on experience with system, network, or security administration including firewall management.
Minimum of five years of hands-on experience including certification with at least two of the following technologies: Check Point, Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, or Fortinet.
Advanced certifications or work experience in Check Point, Cisco, or Fortinet are highly beneficial.
Relevant certifications in system administration, networking, or information security.
Strong knowledge of IP networking, routing and switching, system administration, and information security.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with executives and employees at all organizational levels.
High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and problem solving ability.
