Job description
Custom Protective Services is seeking a security officer with an F-01 to work weekends at a corporate building in Manhattan.
Shift Time:
- Saturday + Sunday 12 PM - 12 AM
- Saturday + Sunday 12 AM - 12PM
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises
- Provide excellent customer service
- Must be able to stand, walk up and downstairs
- Adhere to all company services and operating standards
- Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
- Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
- Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control, and accident investigations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have a valid NYS Security License
- 8hr/16hr certificates
- F-01 Fireguard Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Flexibility in schedule preferred including weekends
Fireguard Starting Salary: $17.00
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
