Job description

We are seeking a seasoned, detail-oriented environmental consultant with a passion for excellence and a proven track record in the field. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience working with due diligence projects, specifically Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). This part-time, remote consulting opportunity offers industry-leading pay ($150/hour) and the opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation in environmental consulting.

About Barrow Barrow is the first cutting-edge AI tool that generates high-quality Phase I ESA reports in a fraction of the time. Our platform is trained on the ASTM E1527-21 standard as well as hundreds of existing reports to be specifically designed towards the needs of environmental consultants and engineers. Our model analyzes site assessment data to create full-length, bespoke reports that match your company's unique writing style and structure.

We hope to significantly reduce turnaround times and boost deal volume, one report at a time. Key Responsibilities Review generated Phase I ESA reports for technical accuracy and compliance with ASTM E1527-21 Provide expert feedback to refine and improve our report output Identify areas where our platform can better serve environmental professionals Offer industry insights and best practices to enhance report quality Consult on complex environmental assessment scenarios Share expertise on regulatory requirements and compliance standards Help develop quality assurance protocols for our reports Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or related field (Master's preferred) 2-5 years of Phase I ESA experience is required Must qualify as an Environmental Professional as defined in 40 CFR §312.10(b) Comprehensive knowledge of ASTM E1527-21 and industry requirements Strong understanding of environmental regulations across multiple jurisdictions Experience reviewing and fine-tuning Phase I ESA reports Self-reliant with excellent critical thinking and attention to detail Interest in technology applications in environmental sciences Ability to work independently in a remote work environment Shared Values At Barrow, we pursue excellence in everything we do.
