Skills Required
8-10 years in Java / J2EE, including Servlets, JMS, JDBC, and EJB/Spring
3-5 years of Linux or Unix
Expert level understanding of Web Services
Experience with software development tools such as SVN, GIT, JIRA, maven
BS in Engineering or Computer Science
Optional Skills - Nice to have
Experience in streaming video or embedded software
Familiarity with network protocol analyzers like tcpdump or wireshark
Role Description
The Client is extending their technology team with additional server software developers. Servers run a full J2EE stack, with interfaces for customers and their myriad devices. On this team you will work closely with our mobile developers as well as our embedded software team. You will work on projects including home security, streaming video, and home automation. You will have an opportunity to develop software that interacts with hardware such as sensors, IP cameras, light switches, and more.
