Location: Round Lake, IL Duration: 9 Months
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our team at Baxter Healthcare. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for creating the pipelines and endpoints that expose data to the enterprise. This position requires a strong background in Python, SQL, Unix, Docker, and RESTful services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Unix to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Work with Docker to containerize data pipelines and ensure scalability and portability.
- Develop and maintain RESTful services to provide secure and efficient data access to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and integrate data analytics into business operations.
- Ensure data privacy and security by implementing appropriate controls and protocols.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in endpoint development or data engineering.
- Strong background in Python, Flask, gUnicorn, SQL, and Unix.
- Experience with Redis, Docker, and RESTful services is highly desirable.
- Experience with UI/UX, Javascript, Node.js or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud computing platform.
- Strong understanding of data privacy and security principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field plus 5 years of experience.
- Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field plus 8 years of experience.
- Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling.
- Certified in AWS.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Certification in data analytics or a related field is a plus.
