Java Software EngineerIntroduction:

Apton works with experienced U.S.-based tech professionals navigating strategic career moves in the market. We are currently connecting with Java Backend and Full Stack Engineers exploring opportunities across enterprise, product, consulting, fintech, healthcare, SaaS, and implementation environments. Demand remains strong across the U.S. market for engineers with modern backend, frontend, cloud, and distributed systems experience. This position is designed for experienced professionals exploring their next strategic move and looking for a more structured and execution-focused job search approach.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop Java applications using Spring Boot framework
  • Work on backend or full stack development projects
  • Utilize ReactJS, Angular, and other frontend technologies for user interface development
  • Design and implement REST APIs and microservices architecture
  • Utilize cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and work with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Collaborate on enterprise or distributed systems environments
Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in software development
  • Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience with ReactJS, Angular, and other frontend technologies
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture
  • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with enterprise or distributed systems environments
  • Open to relocation anywhere within the United States
