We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong AI/Generative AI expertise to build and modernize enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, cloud technologies, distributed systems, and modern AI/ML development practices.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and web services.
- Develop and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI solutions in production environments.
- Leverage GenAI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code for development, testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, automation, and documentation.
- Design and implement agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and LLM-based solutions.
- Contribute to application modernization and migration from legacy platforms to distributed, cloud-based architectures.
- Develop and support containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions, architecture, and development standards.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience with Java, Spring Framework, cloud technologies, and web services.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production.
- 6+ years of experience with microservices, containerized applications, and CI/CD environments.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, or PCF.
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and spec-driven development.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Aerospike, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of application modernization and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies.
- Experience with TDD, QA automation, and quality engineering.
- Experience creating architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
