Field Work related to conducting, collecting, air, soil, water, and industrial hygiene samples. Perform Environmental Assessments (EAs) and Industrial Hygiene Assessments (IHAs) to assist with compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Reporting and Analysis of data using GIS and statistical software to interpret and produce detailed technical reporting.
Assist in developing strategies for mitigation, pollution control, waste management, and sustainability. Ability to work in a team-based environment, communicating with clients, regulators and the public to discuss project impacts and mitigation strategies. Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Biology, Chemistry, or Earth Science, Preferred.
Field experience can be substituted for education qualification. Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Microsoft Office/data analysis tools. Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions moving around potentially difficult terrain and construction sites.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Environmental, Health and Safety Consultants split their time between working in an office and in the field. OSHA 10/30 and OSHA 40 with the ability to wear a respirator and lift up to 50 lbs.
This is a career path position. Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Should have or be able to get 30 & 40 hour OSHA, able to wear proper PPE including respirator.
