Primary Therapist - Adults PHP/IOP

On-Site | Full-Time | 1p-9p Monday - Friday (Training 1 Month: 7a-3p M-F)

About the Role

You are the clinical owner of each client's treatment experience at PRC. From intake through discharge, you lead assessment, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, and case coordination - supporting adults navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. This role requires clinical confidence, strong family engagement skills, and the ability to hold structure in a fast-paced treatment environment.

What You'll Do

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy for adults in PHP/IOP
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments, diagnoses, and master treatment plans at intake
  • Lead each case from a multidisciplinary lens in collaboration with psychiatry, case management, and external providers
  • Communicate regularly with families and supports regarding clinical progress and expectations
  • Monitor treatment progress and adjust plans when progress stalls or clinical needs shift
  • Facilitate assigned groups and participate in clinical meetings and case conceptualization
  • Support crisis intervention as needed; coordinate with clinical leadership on escalations
  • Coordinate discharge and aftercare planning with clients, families, and outside providers
  • Complete all documentation within required timeframes and compliance standards

What We're Looking For

  • Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern or Licensed Clinician (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) in Florida
  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy
  • 2+ years of experience in substance use treatment or co-occurring PHP/IOP settings
  • Bilingual required: English and Spanish or Portuguese
  • Skilled in CBT, DBT, MI, and trauma-informed approaches
  • Strong clinical documentation practices - DAP notes, group notes, treatment plans completed on time
  • Confident leading groups, engaging resistant clients, and navigating complex family and support systems
  • Eligible for DCF and AHCA Level 2 background screening and drug test
  • Organized, grounded, and genuinely invested in adult recovery outcomes
