Our client, a major employer in the area, is looking for a Summer Intern- Connected Driving World Models to be part of its team in its North American operations.
Job Description:
This is a summer internship only
Seeking a PhD student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline to work on Connected Driving World Models.
What you'll be doing
  • Develop and evaluate AI World Models for connected and automated driving systems
  • Explore generative and latent-space models (e.g., diffusion, VAE-style world models)
  • Conduct experiments in simulations and/or logged real world driving data

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with a focus on AI / machine learning
  • Strong background in Machine Learning and Deep Learning
  • Experience with simulation platforms such as CARLA
  • Proficient programming skills in Python and common libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Pytorch, etc.)
  • Ability to engage in general research activities such as defining problems and issues to be addressed, finding, and using research data, and being able to make recommendations and findings in writing and presentations.
