Job description

Our client, a defense contractor in Point Mugu, CA, is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst / Scrum Master for a full-time position. This individual will work onsite daily and will support complex Navy software, weapons system, and technical programs through systems analysis, Scrum leadership, SAFe coaching, and technical program coordination.
This individual will work directly with Government program leaders, Integrated Product Teams, Software Support, and Program Management teams to analyze system requirements, improve technical processes and computer systems, support program execution, and coach both government and contractor teams on SAFe, Scrum, Agile, and Kanban practices.
Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in systems analysis, software or technical program support, Agile delivery, or related functions
  • Strong experience with SAFe, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies
  • Experience serving as a Scrum Master and coaching, mentoring, or guiding Agile teams
  • Experience analyzing science, engineering, business, or data processing requirements to implement or improve computer systems
  • Experience analyzing user requirements, procedures, workflows, system capabilities, and technical or scheduling limitations
  • Experience reviewing technical program plans supporting weapons systems, subsystems, equipment, software, or information technology systems
  • Experience preparing technical data, documentation, or program support materials
  • Experience working directly with Government customers, technical teams, and program leadership
  • Scrum Master certification
  • SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related technical discipline, or a bachelor's degree with at least 14 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Skills:
  • Previous DoD, Navy, NAVAIR, NAWCWD, or other Government program experience
  • Experience supporting software development, testing, and systems integration
  • Experience supporting Navy weapons systems, mission systems, or other complex technical programs
  • Experience leading SAFe implementations, Agile transformation efforts, or large-scale Agile delivery programs
  • Experience providing SAFe or Agile training to Government or contractor personnel
  • Experience serving as a Release Train Engineer, Solution Train Engineer, Agile Coach, or other program-level Agile lead
