Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Supervisor of Public Safety Patrol, you will help ensure the safety and security of our hospital, its property, staff, visitors, and guests so they can experience a secure and peaceful environment consistent with Dignity Health's mission and core values.

Every day you will supervise and direct security staff, responding to routine and crisis situations, and actively patrol the hospital and its grounds to prevent security breaches and safety hazards. You will be expected to make independent safety and security decisions, coach and counsel staff, and conduct ongoing training sessions.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a full understanding of security policies and procedures, demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, and proactively address security concerns while upholding Dignity Health's commitment to humankindness.

Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Graduate General Studies or High School GED, and one (1) year experience as a security officer involving extensive public contact
  • BLS-American Heart Association 
  • Carry Concealed Weapon Certification
  • Driver's License: Nevada


Preferred

  • Completion of college level education courses in criminal justice
