The Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Division of Wildlife Conservation is recruiting
for a College Intern 1 located in Fairbanks, Alaska!
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Gain proficiency in WinfoNet, ADF&G's Wildlife Information Network.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for harvest data entry and management.
  • Assist in coding hunt locations using Uniform Coding Unit (UCU) maps.
  • Verify harvest reports through direct outreach to hunters.
  • Support Wildlife Technicians with various assigned duties and projects.

Located at the Fairbanks ADF&G office, this position features a shared workspace overlooking the Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge. While you will primarily work in an office setting, there will be opportunities to assist the public at the front counter, surrounded by Alaska's unique wildlife displays.
