Job description

Who We Are

Joyce Factory Direct has been an industry leader in home remodeling since 1955, specializing in sunrooms, windows, baths, and doors. We proudly serve multiple markets including Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Columbia, Asheville, and Greenville. We are a third-generation, family-owned and operated company, committed to quality craftsmanship and long-term customer relationships. At Joyce, we take pride in manufacturing the majority of our own products, allowing us to deliver superior quality while supporting the communities we serve.

Position Overview

Joyce is expanding into the Piedmont Triad, and we're looking for an Event Marketing Manager to help build our presence from the ground up. You'll play a key role in establishing our event marketing strategy, developing relationships throughout the community, leading a high-performing team, and driving lead generation in one of our newest markets.

This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role where you will actively engage homeowners, generate leads, and set appointments while managing event execution. You will also take ownership of venue relationships and proactively identify and secure new events to expand our presence.

Compensation

This role includes a base salary plus performance-based incentives.

Compensation Includes:

  • Base salary: $55,000
  • Expected first-year earnings: $65,000 - $70,000+ (base + uncapped bonus)
  • $500/month car allowance
  • $100/month phone allowance

What You'll Do

  • Generate leads and set appointments with homeowners at events
  • Actively engage attendees and create interest in Joyce products
  • Coach and motivate team members on-site to improve results
  • Build and develop a high-performing event marketing team through recruiting, training, and coaching.
  • Manage relationships with event venues, coordinators, and partners
  • Take ownership of market growth by identifying new partnerships, improving event performance, and expanding Joyce's local presence
  • Support event setup and teardown as part of a hands-on team environment
  • Consistently meet or exceed lead generation and appointment targets

You'll Be a Good Fit If You Have:

  • 2-5+ years of event marketing, retail sales, canvassing, or lead-generation experience
  • Experience leading or mentoring others in a performance-driven environment (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and confidence approaching new people
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Piedmont Triad market
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as events require
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and build a market from the ground up.
  • Ability to lift and set up tents, tables, banners, and basic event equipment

Benefits

  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • PTO and vacation time
  • Car and cell phone allowance
  • 401(k) with a 25% uncapped company match
  • Flexible schedule
  • Employee discount on home improvement services
  • Employee Referral Bonus Program

Why Joyce

  • Over 71 years of proven success as a third-generation, family-owned company
  • Opportunity for advancement as Joyce continues expanding into new markets
  • High-quality, American-made products
  • Robust marketing support and brand recognition
  • A team-oriented environment focused on growth and long-term success
