Job description

Who we are
Thread Bank is a digital-first community bank that combines the trusted foundation of traditional banking with modern technology and a partner-focused approach. We help companies bring innovative financial solutions to market with the regulatory strength of a bank and the speed, flexibility,
and collaboration of a technology company.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who moves with urgency without sacrificing quality-comfortable navigating ambiguity, eager to learn, and disciplined about the regulatory standards that underpin our business. This is a unique opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in embedded banking, build skills that remain uncommon in the market, and grow alongside a rapidly evolving business.
What you'll do
  • Support ongoing partner monitoring, including KPI scorecards, monthly partner data reviews, and flagging anomalies or emerging trends to the team.
  • Assist with data analysis and narrative development for risk assessments of new and existing embedded banking partners.
  • Support a Client Manager in maintaining and growing a portfolio of client relationships.
  • Prepare materials for Quarterly Business Reviews, including data analysis, charts, and presentation content.
  • Support cross-functional reviews with Compliance, Risk, Product, and Operations to gain approval for new partner features and functionality.
  • Document funds flows, processes, and controls, and support audit, exam, and compliance testing requests, including tracking and following up on audit findings and remediation items.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards, validate data, and identify opportunities to automate manual processes, including with approved AI tools.
  • Manage the intake of post-approval requests, track required follow-up items, and send reminders for reserve requirement top-offs, training completions, and other outstanding obligations.
  • Prepare initial content for the biweekly partner digest and verify partner information before distribution.
  • Support accounts receivable follow-up for assigned partners, including tracking outstanding balances and coordinating with the appropriate internal teams.
  • Perform data entry, analytics, and modeling support as needed, including Quarterly Scorecard data entry.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate logistics to keep partner initiatives moving.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, data analytics, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in financial services, fintech, payments, accounting, or a related field.
  • Comfort learning new systems and working with AI tools to improve speed and quality.
  • Interest in embedded banking, payments, and bank-fintech partnerships. Familiarity with ACH, cards, or FBO account structures is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a sense of urgency, a commitment to quality, and timely completion of duties without close oversight.
